Fishing
Jigz with the Z Man BatwingZ Trailers
(continued)
 Features:
I
didn't see a mention or sign of salt or scent to note. The packaging is nice and
has a plastic tray piece inside to help keep the baits flat and is resealable at
the top. As stated, these baits don't mingle with normal soft plastic very well,
so I keep them in this bag at all times.

Woah!
Design and
Ergonomics:
It just so
happens “Material Elasticity” is one of our rating fields—and that's what this
Elaztech material is all about! The stuff is not just durable but a bait can be
stretched out many times longer than its own body length. BatwingZ come in two
sizes and to me are best fished as trailer on a standard jig, although a swim
jig may be a viable option as well since the claws do flutter a bit when reeled
on a straight retrieve.

The
side profile is quite thin.
Application:
Other than on the back of a jig, I could see one being fished on
something like a dart head or ball head. Drop shotting? That might even be worth
a shot, too.

More jig fishing success thanks in part to the BatwingZ!
Conclusion:
The Z Man BatwingZ trailers provide a great alternative to those who demand the
ultimate durability from their baits. I often fish smaller waters near my home
and these are the perfect companion for a pond-hopping adventure where lots of
bites can sometimes be the norm. I really like that they readily float up off
the bottom in a defensive posture giving the fish an even better view from a
distance. Trailer selection has always been ultra-critical to me, and these have
definitely earned a spot in my tackle bag!
