A behind the
scenes look at the new and improved Tackle Warehouse
(continued)

Next we moved into the
buying area, each of the buyers has their own stations in close vicinity to
management. Rich and Corey (Corey is one of the original guys from the TW early
days and can be frequently seen on the company’s VLOG’s introducing new
products) both have offices in this central location where they can quickly
interact with both the buying and customer service department.

The Customer Service
department is run by BT (Brandon Taylor) and after talking to him it was clear
how passionate he was about customer service. BT remarked that he personally was
not satisfied with some of the customer service he had experienced from other
organizations and that it is his goal was to continually beat the expectations
of consumers and elevate the standard in the industry.

For this reason they have
hired real anglers that can provide not just service but a true understanding of
customer applications so that they are better able to make quality
recommendations. The Customer Service team is there to assist customer with the
complete gamut of questions as well as address any concerns after the sale.

As we walked further down
a rather long hallway we then came across four photo labs as well as a large
post graphics post processing department. This department does the images for
all the brands in the building and is responsible for those high quality
pictures you see on the TW site when you browse the product pages. If Cal was on
the tour he would have no doubt been drooling over the photo studios, backdrops
and lighting equipment. Heck, we should have brought Ms. Casey down for a shoot!

Also upstairs is an area
for social gatherings as well as conference rooms for vendor meetings and a
balcony with a great view of the surrounding valley. This is the same balcony
that you can see Corey doing occasional product videos on. It was quickly
becoming evident that the team at Tackle Warehouse does everything they can to
create a positive work environment for employees, but we hadn’t seen anything
yet.
