Quantum Leap Into the EXO Generation (continued)
EXO PT Rods:
With the introduction of the EXO PT reels comes the EXO PT rods. These rods
feature EX4 blank construction, which combines lightweight carbon fibers and
resin in a custom graphite matrix that produces lighter, thinner blanks with
enhanced sensitivity and durability.
Quantum introduced the EXO PT rods to match the new EXO PT reels
These rods also sport Fuji components. Stainless steel micro guides are used
with Alconite inserts and the new Fuji SK2 split reel seats are part of the EXO
PT rods.

There are seven casting rods which range from medium all the way to heavy,
sporting fast to x-fast tapers. The casting models will have a weight range as
low as 3.24 ounces up to 4.84 ounces depending on the model. The EXO PT spinning
rods come in six models from medium-light to medium-heavy weighing from 3.17 to
3.89 ounces, again depending on which model you choose. The rods will retail for
$179 and will be available October 2011.

is awesome, putting “Metal Where it Matters” and reducing much of the
unnecessary weight. Include those additional features to complement their
already stellar construction and you have a truly innovative, lightweight, and
