Introduction:
New to us this year is a rod manufacturer out of Mountain Home, Arkansas. Denali Rods approach is to offer old school craftsmanship together with contemporary stylings and value. Each of their rod series can be identified by their somewhat unique use of Asian hardwoods at the foregrip for each rod.

Each of the Denali line of rods features a different exotic hardwood at the foregrip.
Jadewood: Beginning with their value oriented series of rods, Denali’s Jadewood sticks feature split rear grips made of eva, guides by American Tackle, and a piece of stabilized, exotic, Asian hardwood finished and stained in the color of green jade. There are three spinning and eight casting rods ranging from $79 - $119 in price. Jadewood rods feature a one year warranty.

The Jadewood rods are their value line.

In addition to the standard factory warranties, Denali offers a lifetime, no-fault replacement plan for all their rods (including their Jadewood). Cost for a no-fault replacement is 50% the retail price of the rod plus $20 for shipping.

Conclusion:
There’s certainly no shortage of rod manufacturers and to stand out, you need to offer something different. Denali is making that effort with the inclusion of their signature Asian hardwood foregrips color stained and treated to match the name of each series. Is this enough to make a difference? Naturally, only time will tell, but we appreciate the effort and nonetheless.
