Fred Hall Long Beach Show: Part 1 - Freshwater Coverage
(continued)

Lee
Sisson: Lee
Sisson was showing a new weedless crankbait design at the show. This patent
pending lip guard system creates the first ever truly weedless crankbait. The
design makes use of two distinct elements, the first being a wire that you
thread your line through before tying on the bait. This wire protects the lip
keeping debris from hanging on.

A weedless crank?
The second are weedless
treble hooks which use a fine wire that protects the hook point from grass or
timber but still collapses easily when fish bite down. The weedless design
creates the first ever truly weedless crankbait and is available on a dozen of
the most popular Lee Sisson wood lure models. These baits are available now and
will retail for $14.99 each.
