Introduction: Since they burst onto the freshwater scene in 2017, American Fishing Tackle Company, or AFTCO for short, has been aggressively filling their product catalog with outdoor apparel tailored towards the needs of recreational and professional bass anglers. They've always made a splash at the industry's largest trade show, and this year's change to an online venue did little to slow them down.

The new Reaper Soft Shell Jacket takes the warmth and comfort of AFTCO's popular hoodie to another level

Reaper Soft Shell Jacket : Leveraging the success of their Reaper Performance Fleece Fishing Hoodie, AFTCO takes this same popular design to create a soft shell jacket so anglers can extra degree of protection from the elements. Made from a blend of 94% polyester and 6% spandex in a ripstop, stretch material, the new Reaper Soft Shell Jacket has laser cut ventilation in the underarms for breathability and a zippered side vent offering the flexibility for extra range of motion. Of course, it comes with the integrated facemask and additional features like lycra cuffs with thumb holes for those who enjoy that added bit of secure fit. Availability is expected this coming Fall and retail price will be $99.

AFTCO extends their AIR-O Mesh fabric to a breathable pair of shorts

Diffuse AIR-O Mesh Fishing Shorts: Last year, at ICAST 2019, AFTCO won an award for their Yurei AIR-O MESH Hooded Performance Shirt. This year, they're taking that same, super breathable fabric to create the Diffuse AIRO-O Mesh fishing short complete with a reinforced utility pocket for pliers, AFLEX 4-way stretch for mobility, and DWR treatment to prevent stains. This water repellent short will be offered in three colors and retail for $59 when it debuts this upcoming Spring.

Both the jacket and rain bib are made from 100% Nylon Oxford Shell that's both waterproof and breathable. The bib comes with Velcro adjustable shoulders and a ComfortFlex mesh back.
