vanadium steel that melds the perfect balance of lightness and resistance, with a sticky-sharp VMC Spark Point.

VMC introduces a full array of Tungsten weights.

VMC Tungsten Weights: Compared to traditional worm weights, the VMC Tungsten Worm Weight profile is 35 percent smaller, which allows for fewer snags and better cover penetration when fishing with soft plastics. Forged out of tungsten, it provides anglers with better feel for structure and amplifies the slightest bite. Lead-free and easy to peg with an insert-free design, the VMC Tungsten Worm Weights are available in sizes ranging from 1/16 ounce on up to 1 1/2 ounce. Retail pricing will be from $4.49 - $8.99.

David James of Rapala takes us through the highlights of Rapala/Normark for 2012.

Conclusion: Refining the product lines while sneaking a couple of new and relevant products was the approach at this year's ICAST for the Normark companies and Rapala USA. The wider availability of tungsten product together with the extension of the X-Rap line are what excite us the most about this manufacturing giant. Thanks goes out to David James for showing us around at this year's show.
