VMC Offers New, Twistless Hooks

Introduction: VMC is the terminal tackle company not many people speak of but whose product adorns many a company's lure as an OEM product. In recent years, they've been aggressively expanding their hooks offering innovative twists to tried and true designs. They continue this trend for 2015.

XLWG - X-Long Wide Gap: Do you like to fish tube baits? Is the path to the perfect hook for your tube bait frustrating? VMC addresses this need with their new, XLWG - extra long wide gap hook. This hook is designed to be fished with tube and other hollow bellied baits where an extra long hook shank would be most convenient. Featuring VMC's XL Locking bait keeping design and a resin closed eye this hook will be available this Fall.

PWS - Powershot: How many of you out there drop shot with heavy line and big baits? Out in California, we refer to this as "Bubba-Shotting". Well, now VMC is making a hook to address the needs of the Bubba-Shot fisherman. With their PWS - Powershot hook, VMC gives anglers a no-twist drop shot option with a big, extra wide gap hook.

SPD - Spindrift: VMC's new SPD (Spindrift) hook features a swivel fused into the line tie area of the hook to help prevent line twist when split shotting, trolling, drifting and even Carolina rigging. The built in swivel is made of stainless steel and reduces line twist by spinning with the worm instead of your line! The SPD hook will be available in sizes 1/0, 1, and 2.
