Kahara Further Defining Niche

Introduction:
Up until recently, the products we've seen from Kahara have been tools and a couple of niche frog and rat baits. Continuing their trend of addressing specific bait situations, Kahara brings to market some new, intriguing baits for 2015.

Introducing the Buzzy Kahara Frog.

It features a hard frog body.

Buzzy Kahara Frog: Kahara's new Buzzy Kahara Frog is essentially a buzzbait with a hardbodied frog as the head. This frog is made of a hard resin, puts the total weight of the lure at 3/4 ounces and is available in eight (8) different colors. This bait will be available in 8 colors and retail for an MSRP of $17.99. Availability is expected in Mid-August.

To go along with the buzzing blade.

Here's the KJ Crank.

KJ Crank: The KJ Crank merges the weedlessness of a topwater, hollow body frog together with the effectiveness of a shallow running square bill crank. This means you can crank it through the thickest vegetation and get to those bass that have buried themselves in cover. The new KJ crank will be available in 8 colors and retail for an MSRP of $11.00. Availability is expected in Mid-September.

It will be available with two different lip styles.

But both will feature this soft body.

Kaharaba: The Kaharaba is a finesse jig featuring a tungsten head with hand tied silicon and tinsel skirt material. It is available in both football head and round head styles in 3 sizes ranging from 1.3 to 9 grams. The Kaharaba will be available in 8 colors and retail for an MSRP of $6.99 beginning the first part of August.

The flexible lip should make this bait deflect off structure like crazy.

Conclusion: While Kahara's breath of product offerings is still mostly niche, like most Japanese bait companies what the company does offer, it offers with very good attention to detail and style. From what we've seen here at ICAST, these baits are quality and should bring loads of fishing fun to those anglers looking for something unique in their tackle boxes.
