Daiwa Introduces Steez AGS Spinning rods with Carbon Framed Guides

Introduction: Just when you thought the Daiwa Steez Rod Series just couldn’t get any more refined, this ICAST the company is introducing an update to their rod series that will have anglers saving their money up for the most advanced Steez rods yet. Meet the Daiwa Steez AGS Series.

Daiwa's newest Steez rod offerings are the new AGS spinning rod series

The new Steez AGS rods combine the company’s super volume fiber (SVF) technology with a new Air Guide System or “AGS” for short. The AGS guides are made with a carbon frame which does not absorb line vibrations. Instead they are designed to seamlessly transmit these vibrations directly into the blank, and ultimately the hands of the angler.

In addition to being mores sensitive these guides are also lighter than guides made out of conventional materials which adds to the overall light and sensitive feel of the rods. The AGS guides are finished with SIC cut proof guides and the rods are finished with the air-foam grips and a laser engraved butt cap.

There will be a total of four new rods in the AGS lineup, all of them are 7 feet in length and range in power from ML to H and will retail from $529 to $549 dollars depending on the model.
