Introduction: Hosted in the state capital of California the Sacramento ISE is proving to be the biggest show on the tour. The Sac show grew this year and offered outdoor enthusiasts a little bit of everything. Whether you enjoy fishing, hunting, off-roading, or simply introducing the kids to nature the show had plenty to offer.

Wow, good thing we got here early

Typical exhibitors found at the ISE sportsmen's shows fishing and hunting gear manufacturers, fishing and hunting guides, adventure travel resorts and lodges from around the world. Outdoor sports companies participating in ISE events sell their products and services to fishing, hunting and outdoor recreation consumers. This is a single stop for anglers to book the fishing adventure of their dreams and gear up for it with show special deals.

Welcome to the show...just over the bridge there are countless exhibitors to talk to and events to enjoy

The Sacramento ISE show is held at the Cal Expo, a massive venue which plays host to the State Fair every year. This outdoor "city within a city" allowed the ISE to spread out across multiple halls as well as run numerous outdoor activities including a Toyota test track where anglers could crawl into the new mammoth Toyota Tundra, and also witness some very impressive off road rock crawling.

We witnessed some pretty spectacular rock crawling at the show

A helping push does the trick

Slap a rod rack on that bad boy and were good to go

A pond for kids to hook into their first fish

A bird's eye view of the Fly Fishing hall

While there was a lot to see at the show we can't deny that except for being mesmerized by the off road demonstration our staff pretty much made a bee-line for the sport fishing hall. Time to talk some tackle...
