Event Article: 2007 ICAST Lures Coverage

ICAST Coverage Day 4 (Lures) - Swimbaits Reign Supreme (continued)

Panther Martin - Stinky Shrimp: Since Panther Martin introduced the Stinky Shrimp in the 4 inch size, they have been quite popular but some anglers thought they it would be even more productive if they came in a smaller size for targeting a wider range of species. For 2008 Panther Martin will be introducing a 3 inch version of the Stinky Shrimp. Now you'll have a choice for 3 or 4 inches and five different patterns in both lengths.

Pro Superior Frogs: The Panther Martin Superior Frogs have been very successful throughout the years on landing quality bass in the nastiest weeds and open water. This new season we will be seeing a new frog from Panther Martin called the Pro Superior Frog.

Introducing the new Pro Superior Frog

The Pro Superior Frog features a similar body profile as the normal Superior Frogs except now the legs are replaces with elastic skirts. These skirts are similar to what we've seen in other frogs before and will surely be effective against bass and other aggressive fish. The difference between other frogs and the Pro Superior is the placement of the hook and the weedguard. Both systems are effective in different types of water/vegetation. Right now the Panther Martin Pro Superior Frogs will be available in three different patterns and two sizes: 3/8 and 5/8 ounces.
